Seringai has just finished their first tour in Taiwan. The tour, which began on Friday, April 11, 2025, and will run until Sunday, April 13, 2025, started in Taichung, Taipei, and Kaohsiung, respectively. The first show, named “First Stop Taichung,” was opened by three bands from the Philippines who were also touring Taiwan, including: Fragments, Juggernaut, and Novacain. The first stop in Taichung became a unique show, demonstrating that music has no boundaries, regardless of nationality; everyone united and had fun with the rhythm and beat of the music. In addition, several Indonesian students were observed arriving at the show carrying critical messages regarding the condition of Indonesia, written on fabrics sprayed with spray paint.

The second show, named “Burning Taipei,” also made an equally impressive impression. Taking place in Taiwan’s capital, the show was opened by a band consisting of Indonesians in Taiwan, Jubah Hitam, and two other Taiwanese bands, Defeat The Giant and Dharma. As the name of the show suggests, “Burning Taipei,” all the bands delivered their best performances that night. Seringai was no exception. When their set ended, they rewarded the crowd with an encore by covering Ace of Spades from Motörhead. The fiery night concluded with a monumental song!

At Seringai’s final show in Kaohsiung, which was also their last on their Taiwan tour, the show was opened by an Indonesian metal band based in Taiwan, Dream of Death, as well as two Taiwanese bands, SHOOTUP and Xmoraz. The show, named “The Last Kilometer in Kaohsiung Calling,” also featured a collaboration that is a hallmark of Kaohsiung Calling. That night, the collaboration was between Seringai and Gun, the vocalist of Dream of Death, on the song “Akselserasi Maksimum.” Furthermore, Seringai also performed a song titled Amplifier, which was not performed at the Taichung and Taipei shows. Finally, a local artist named Moma presented her painting in the final moments of the Seringai performance, which the members then signed after the show. A recap of the entire show, from Taichung to Kaohsiung, can be watched on our YouTube video titled ‘Recap: Seringai Live in Taiwan‘.

Each city Seringai visited during their tour in Taiwan has its own unique story. Beyond the stage performances, several interesting moments of Seringai’s Taiwan tour stood out, including exchanging stories with local Taiwanese and Indonesians after the shows, visiting several Indonesian restaurants in Taiwan, and even an interview session at Radio Taiwan International. Seringai meticulously captured all of these memories in the video “Signature Time SERINGAI Wolves of East Asia Tour 2025 – After Movie,” which they uploaded to YouTube. Besides compiling moments from their time in Taiwan, the video also features several moments from Seringai’s time in Japan, as that country was also their destination on their Wolves of East Asia Tour 2025.

All of their moments with Seringai during their tour in Taiwan were so fulfilling! Unfortunately, after their final show in Japan, news of Ricky Siahaan, Seringai’s guitarist, who passed away, came as a complete shock. The joy of several days in Taiwan with Seringai seemed to be celebrated with sorrow. Afterward, every captured moment feels precious and worth remembering. Rest in power, Ricky! We already miss you. “Ricky Siahaan Forever!”
